Seems like Makro is taking Money from Pensioners to earn interest for themselves

My father bought a laptop from your website on 1 May. There was other places that sold the same laptop for about the same price but he wanted to order from Makro. So on the same day Makro took the money off his account. A WEEK LATER they phoned that they do not have stock anymore. This after A WEEK of keeping his money and earning interest on who knows how many other clients. This behavior is absolutely shocking and not acceptable. How do you take a pensioners money and keep it for a week when you should know you dont have stock? DO you even know how your own systems work? How do you sell products you dont have stock of?

I will be writing a complaint to the Consumer commission on this as this is completely unacceptable behavior. Looks like you could be in breach of at least section 30 of the act. I am still waiting for confirmation on what you will be doing to this case as the person who phoned me was suppose to come back to me, but again, this is too much to ask from Makro. Guess you are keeping the money for some more interest to be earned by you!

So two days has lapsed where you still have not assisted with this. You are still earning interest on a pensioners money and he is still without money or a laptop.
Is this really part of your business core values to do this to pensioners?
He saved a long time for this money and now you are abusing this.
