Say no for Makro gift cards

Please don't buy your friend or family a Makro gift card. A friend wanted to buy my wife a gift for her birthday. I told him she wanted a electronic frying pan. He went to Makro to buy her a gift card . After receiving the gift card she ask me if I can go and have a look at the electronic frying pans, I was very disappointed to find out that you can only buy a frying pan online. I ask the Makro store manager if I can buy with the gift card online and they said no I have to buy the electronic frying pan cash. I think Makro think it is still the 1980. Maybe Makro must ask Elon Musk to help them with there technology.
