Sadness

I purchase a 7kg washing machine from Makro Centurion online and was delivered to my home, 13 days later the washing machine started leaking water I reported it on the 14th day which is now six days later emailing me they will send out a technician to evaluate the damage for repairs I responded I would like this machine replaced please it is too new for repairs they responded they can only replace unopened items. Really how was I to know this machine is a dud and not to open it and on top of it all the time frame involved is just really bad aftercare service. Makro overall seems to have terrible after care service I would rather pay more next time I purchase any appliance as long as I don't use Makro. This washing machine was a gift to my daughter for Christmas how embarrassing.
