On their site they advertised Oral-B Vitality at R199 but only in-store. I went to their Umgenu branch. Not only was it out of stock but at R299. I will never again drive all that way for an in-store only item. And I will not take the "opportunity" to buy other items that they do have. They are losing me as a customer.

09 May 2024, 13:07What I would like to see on the site is at which stores the items are available. This is currently only available for items offered online. I would also like the option to purchase and place the items in the store's collection point. I would then be tempted to go into the store to make additional purposes. That would make better business sense.

You have missed my point entirely. You have given me your online order sch****. Either show the stores where an in-store only item is available or lose sales. Why don't you just listen to my constructive suggestion that will increase customer satisfaction and loyalty?

I have found an item with an equivalent function IN STOCK and available for delivery for a few rand more than the Makro "promotional price" - but less than the cost of my time & petrol wasted today. Now Makro does not have first call for my attention.

Thank you for an important life lesson. I will no longer trust what is on Makro's website but will look at similar products from other suppliers.
