Rotten Rainbow chicken polony

Yesterday 24Jan 2025 went to Makro carnival for monthly grocery shopping as usual And to my surprise when I got home unpacking only to see that the chicken polony Rainbow brand it’s rotten. Today 25 Jan 2025 called the call centre hence I had to attend work in morning and knocking off late of which already they will be close and very friendly lady gave me an ear and transferred call to carnival. I spoke to Hamilton Ndimande apparently he deals with the department. Funny how he just asked me where I stay and he told me when I have time I must come get refund and that’s it!!!No apology or any remorse the conversation with him was very cold and I asked him were can I send a photo of proof because I can not sit with this rotten I need to through it away and I don’t even know when would I find time to drive back there he rep**** very rudely and told me there is nothing he can do but only get refund So firstly there is no apology for selling rotten food Secondly I must use my own petrol and time to come get refund?? The lack of service he gave me on the phone was very disappointing and disrespectful!! Thirsdly doesn’t refrigerate stock been checked daily so that we can not buy rotten food??
