****** inside Makro Polokwane

I went to Makro Polokwane on 27 October 2021 to do groceries, I had my 8 year old son with me. After nearing the end of our shopping we were approached by two woman, the one introduced herself as a supervisor of Makro named Lebo. She grabbed my purse with R2000 cash and all my cards and cellphone and threw it to the second woman.

It happened so quick and I could not run after the women as I could not leave my 8 year old son alone. I proceeded in tears and shock with my son to look for another employee to help us. A gentleman approached us and asked if we were ok as he noticed ladies around us. I told him NO we are not ok as we had just been ******.

He told my son and myself to follow him to the tills. I in a state of shock and tears everyone looking at us as if we are *******. A security brought a lady to me and asked if it was her, I rep**** no as it was not one of the two woman.

They then walked myself and my son out the exit through the parking lot and loading bays to the rear entrance. Where we were escorted to an office. I was not given the chance to view video footage. While sitting there the ladies drove to the Sasol Garage up the road and withdrew R5000.00 - We still do not know how as my pin is not written down anywhere or saved on my phone that was taken too.

We were treated like the *********!!! My son is still traumatized that was my salary to buy food for my baby, and son as my husband lost his job a few months' ago. I was left ****** and made to look and feel like the ********. No compassion or anyway to try and help me in anyway.

After years of being a loyal supporter of Makro I now will NOT set foot in a Makro and strongly advise ANYONE NOT to support Makro.

To date Makro headoffice or Makro polokwane have NOT reached out to me after calling them and after the incident.
