Repairs On Laptop still not complete

I had returned the laptop as there was a hardware failure. This is within the warranty period. It has been over five weeks (25 Jan handed in) and i don't have the laptop to date. I require this laptop as my sister needs it for school to complete her work. i have contacted the department, but to date nothing has been done. I do believe they have not even begun fixing the problem. I am utterly disgusted by this type of service. No feedback to date,
