I bought an iron from makro. After it stopped working I took it back to makro, who then booked it in with their supplier for repairs-Russell Hobb. So I was contacted to come collect it on Sunday as it was ready and it was fixed. No one bothered to plug it in at the store to show that the iron was indeed fixed. When I plugged it in on Monday - i almost end got electrocuted. It purple spark light came out of it and the iron is now dead and not working. So my concern is what if I really got hurt? Who was going to be liable for my bills? Makro or Russell Hobb? Why didn't they ensure the iron was working before it was given to me? I am really disappointed.
