Regretful Makro client. Worst service

My phone(a Hauwei P20 lite) that I purchased at Makro in Strubens valley on the 5th of December 2018 started giving me problems(a no "service message" in the network bar) on the 23rd of May 2019 and this has been a problem for me because I use this device for business. I then took it back to the Makro store I purchased it at on 27th of May where a lady by the name of Sindiswa Sahlulo who told me that they will have to take the phone in and I should return after 6 weeks, this is a problem for me as this is my business phone and I do not have an alternative device and I actually read up on the Hauwei p20 lite model and this seems to be a common problem with the model(the device gets "fixed" then after a few days, hours even it goes back to the "no service" message) explaining this to her she then told me that they can move the 6 weeks to 3 weeks, asked if she could guarantee it and I got no reply. Futhermore, I told her this will still be a problem for me as this is a business phone she then told me to take the phone to the Vodacom repairs in Alberton and that it would take a period of 7 days now. In my confusion I left. i wanted to know whether this is how Makro deals with their clients? I purchased the device from Makro in strubens valley not Vodacom repairs in Alberton so I do not understand as to why I am the one who is suppose to resolve this whole matter. "If defects appear after the sale or if goods are not CPA-compliant, the consumer is entitled to return them within six months. The CPA also makes the seller liable to either repair or replace the goods, or to refund the purchaser." My sister then called the Makro head office where she was helped by a lady named Noxolo who seemed to understand my complaint and told us that the cellphones department was already closed and that She would resolve the matter and call back the following day(28th of May 2019) at 09:00 which she did not my sister followed up on the matter and she was told that she is resolving and would call back this too she did not do. So I ask again is this how Makro deals with their clients?

Good day Tokozani,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

Kindly accept our sincerest apologies for the service you have received from our store. We do not address customers like that and we definitely do not expect you to take your own Makro bought product to our suppliers.
Kindly allow us to follow up with our store and as soon as feedback is relayed we will contact you.

Kind Regards,
Makro Hellopeter Team

Reviewer Update
Today(29th of May) I was contacted to by a lady by the name of Nokuphila from Makro Strubens Valley who told me that the Consumer Protection Act does not apply to me and that I should bring the phone in for assessment which will take 10 working days only thereafter it will be decided on my situation. Furthermore she said that she is not in violation of the Consumer Protection Act by refusing me the option to either refund, exchange or repair according to the CPA.

Even though I told her that it was a device fault she insisted that it was a service provider fault. The service provider being Vodacom and I told her that this can't be possible since a Vodacom Sim card was not part of my purchase and that I have used a number of Sim cards from different service providers and I still get the "no service message".

She then "called" Vodacom telling me that they can probably fix it from their side which they could not do. So ultimately I am still in the same place where I started with a device that has "no service" and my business is on hold because of this

So I ask again is this how Makro treats their clients?
