Refund for Invalidated order
5th of this month placed an order of R900.94 and after payment, their payment page said it was unsuccessful checked my bank app money was deducted. I reached out same day and was told my order was invalidated and will be refunded shortly. Even today I'm Still waiting for my refund. I sent them the documents they requested to process my refund when I enquire they tell me matter is escalated to finance. I decided to reach out to my bank for assistance to reverse the money since it's still pending on the bank app. They told me to request an authorization letter from makro so that they can reverse it but when I get in touch with makro they keep telling me matter is escalated. Had I known that their service has become this bad, wouldn't have wasted my money on them now I have to wait for my money to be refunded.

16 Feb 2026, 14:10Honestly speaking I'm tired of this back and forth with makro so that I can get my money back. I know you failin to refund me on time but it can' cost your company a whole 3 days for drafting an authorization letter so that my bank can review the money. What you're doing is not fair and I'm expected to wait while you stay there with my money 🙄 I have bills to pay!!!
