Rather Takealot.com than Makro Online

On Thursday I placed an online order at Makro online store value nine thousand six hundred and sixty Rand. On Monday eleven October at sixteen fifty nine I received an sms from Makro team stating courier collected my item for delivery whom and will send me an sms indicating scheduled day of delivery. At seventeen seventeen the same afternoon or more pricisely eighteen minutes after the sms saying courier collected my order for delivery, I received an email from makro team advising my product had been delivered to me the customer. I checked the tracking record and indeed it showed producted delivered to customer. As of Tuesday twelveth October I still was not in possession of the product as no product delivery by the Makro contracted courier company was made to the delivery address provided and recorded on the makro system. I tried to email my complaint to the support email as provided *** which was rejected by the makro server and returned. The same for makroteam email. I called the support call centre and was told the order was out for delivery today Tuesday twelve October and it was a mistake on their tracking system. I normally do most if not all of my online shopping with Takealot.com and not once have I experienced this inconvenience. Clearly Takealot.com is a more capable, efficient, realiable and trustworthy online store than Makro online ....S M Amos
