Queuing at security point
I addressed this annoying behavior with Makro previously via e-mail , with regards to the queuing at the security point when exiting and they responded with no common sense. When I purchase groceries from your store, it is been made up of +- 50 items, which I had to pay at your cashier, after the payment the goods is mine because the till slip proofed that I have paid ,so why must I queuing to be checked that I didn't steel something. Makro incriminate and discriminate against its customers and insinuate that there could be items that's not been paid for in your trolley, just in case the cashier is ******* , an unacceptable behavior since it act against my human dignity, therefor get your house in order Makro since money has been exchanged goods now belong to me I have proof of payment in hand and next time do not attempt to stop me at the exit because it is not going to work and I did not commit any crime. Your highly trained guards at the exit is there to do the ****** work for Makro, and Discriminate against the customers.

Firstly, thank you for raising this issue and giving us the opportunity to reply to your concern.
End control has been in practice in Makro for the past 44 years and more importantly we have done research on the topic with our customers and the vast majority of them don't have an issue with the practice as long as it's done efficiently, courteously and without delaying them too much. Our end controllers concentrate on two angles and track the number and value of errors they detect where customers would have overpaid and where Makro would have lost due to error or *****, and we believe that this vindicates our reasons for performing this function.
We try and ensure that all customers have a safe and pleasant shopping experience
I certainly would not advise you to walk out with-out your slip having been stamped by a security guard, however end control is part of our trading terms .
When you do visit any of the stores and you have to queue for a long time, please do not hesitate to ask for the store Executive Manager and address the issue in store with them.
