Purchased Dell laptop with faulty hard drive

Purchased a Dell laptop at Makro Ottery in Cape Town. After 6 months it started giving Hard drive issues, sent it in for repairs and received it almost 5 weeks later. It worked for probably a month odd and got the exact same issue. My laptop was sent in thrice with the exact problem (even attached pics of display message as proof). By this time my laptop was out of guarantee. I did not expect a refund but I was hoping that by the third time my laptop would be fixed or even replaced (last resort).

I then decided to send it in for repairs at my cost! The person managed to replace the hard drive ribbon which was actually the fault and mentioned my laptop was never opened but the operating system was just reinstalled every time.

The service I received at Makro was disgusting and disappointing, as the problem was never fixed regardless of sending it in thrice with the same problem. Would not recommend purchasing any electronic equipment from Makro! Service is terrible!
