Price you see is the price you pay

I had the unfortunate experience shopping at Makro in Crown Mines. The adverti*****t for the Full Cream depicted 4 - 6packs 200 ml Full Cream For R80.00, The cashier was not made aware of the printing error, nor was the supervisor or floor manager. A poor notice was placed above the item however the terms and conditions the floor manager told me to read which she did not understand herself was if you buy an item in bulk the price that is advertised is the price that you will pay. The cashier told me to go and fetch my own Promotion paper to show her where does it say that there is 4 6 packs of full cream for R80. I went to my car to fetch the paper because the promotional papers they have in the store was incorrect as well because they took out the paper that had the full cream advertised. The store manager Shaun Royappen was called and then came eventually. He was very arrogant and ******** and did not even introduce himself but instead went on about defending the store and telling me things like CPA. When Managers are considered, do they even go for training on how to deal with complex situations and calming down irate customers. A customer does not understand store jargon. I am utterly disgusted with the service i received because i would have understood if the cashiers, supervisor or floor manager knew about the printing issue, but instead they were incompetant especially the floor manager. There were other items that i was also charged incorrectly for and i had to point it out and have it rectified. If i am to do shopping there should be notices on each and every product because Makro does not know how to price their products correctly. the special has been going on since April surely they can have the promotional adverti*****ts rectified. What ever happened to the new law that came out Treating Customers Fairly????? What happened to protecting the rights of consumers??? There is no customer service anymore in South Africa. Big companies like Makro should be grateful to consumers.
