Pre-Order but it never arrives

Pre-ordered a PS4 game last week from Makro. Was then advised that it was only being delivered to the stores on the 13th. Now it is the 17th and still waiting for the game. I thought the whole point of pre-ordering was to get it on the day? Not days after it has been released.
