Poor service from Makro

I ordered goods online at Makro and still did not receive them after 8 working days. After several follow ups, I decided to cancel the order and requested my refund back. I was told they will request it back from the courier company and refund will take 2 to 10 days. I don't understand why the refund is taking so long as I need my money to buy those items from another store.
