Poor Service
I bought a bicycle at Makro SA in Arbour Crossing yesterday at 11am and a salesman refused to check the bicycle before we buy it. Because I always buy for Makro under the Coastal College business I had a bit of trust and faith that their service will not disappoint.
However, Later that day I picked up that the bicycle has a factory fault. When I returned the bicycle back to the shop within 24hrs the department manager refused to accept the bicycle not assist us. Instead she is saying this is our fault that we bought the bicycle that has a fault.
I have not experienced so much disappointment and disrespect from Makro before.

24 Dec 2024, 12:34THe Malusi Ngcobo guy quickly took the bike and tried to fix the issue in private while they were saying we should book it in for repairs. He thought I do not see and took the fault part away when he saw me taking pictures of this incident.
The malusi guy states that the manual shows a clear image of the broken part which we were suppose to see and bring the bike back immediately as soon as we see the fault.
At that point both the manager and the salesman Malusi left us standing in the shop without explanation. But other people who had come after us were assisted with the very same service we were told is not provided which is to check the bicycle and package before selling it to the customer.
