Poor security at Makro stores

I visited Makro liquor store in Sinoville Pretoria earlier today. 2 October 2021 at around 10:30. It was not a good experience. My attention was distracted in the store by so called customers and my cell phone in my shirt pocket ******. I noticed it about 5 minutes after it happened and reported it to the store manager. After a while they informed me that they saw the whole incident on the security surveillance system in store. Also told me that they saw the perpetrators exiting the store. I am disappointed that Makro, a major retailer with all its resources cannot take more preventative action to ensure the safety of their customers. Surely they also must have security on the floor to look out for such acts and persons that may only be there to commit such crimes. This is simply unacceptable and shows that they simply do not care about customers and there safety and that all the measures they have in place is there for their benefit and does not really help the customer much. My visit to the store costs me R11 000.
