Poor quality and delayed refund
I bought a metal tri bunk bed from Makro in December last year for my 12 & 9 year olds. Within 2 months the base bent and I logged a return. It was collected within 3 days much to my surprise. That was 2 weeks ago! I have since had no feedback wrt to my refund other than that the bed has been sent to be assessed. In the meantime, my kids are sleeping on the couch. Can it really take this long to assess and find that the quality is poor and shouldn't have bent under the weight of an average 12 year old girl?!

The status of your return is pending quality check.
Please note that we are awaiting feedback of the outcome of the assessment from the supplier and you will be notified via email with an update.
Kindly note that as soon as the assessment is approved, your credit will be reversed back into the same account that you paid with.
Be advised that when you check for your refund on your banking statement, check from the date of purchase (backdated), as we reverse the money into your account." Just a copy and paste from the previous comms and no actual info specific to my return!
