Poor Gift Card Service

I have a Makro gift card and I wanted to check my balance and the expiration date on the of the gift card. I sent a message to the number on the back of the card 34543. My R2 was taken but I didn't get a reply with my balance. I tried call the number provided *** it is says the number is incorrect. I called *** to find how do i get excess to my balance. The lady told my i have to go into a Makro to get the balance. That is pathetic. Makro should rather stop issuing gift cards if they cannot provide a proper gift card service. Imagine driving all the way to Makro only to find out your cards balance is zero or that it has already expired. There should be a pratical way like all other stores of obtaining your balance expiration date. I give your gift card service a negative Zero.
