Poor customer service, false advertising at Makro Wonderboom PTA.

I was very disappointed by the poor customer service I experienced at Makro, Wonderboom In PTA North. It was on Friday 14 Jan and was looking forward to go purchase one of the advertised Lawn mower combo coming with Trimmer by Ryobi. The sale catalogue was indicating that the sale had started on the 10th Jan so I thought I needed to get one before it’s stocked out. The manager for that Isle had to lie about stock having finished although the records indicated that they didn’t receive any stock yet despite the promotion being on its 4th day by then. The customer service manager was also not that satisfactorily helpful nor willing to go extra mile to solve the problem. If stock was finished I would have understood but the stock was not even there and they had to use tactics to try and convince me otherwise. I gave my number to see if they would call me when stock arrive but I’m not holding any breath. Poor customer service, improperly trained staff and false advertising was at play that day. I’m a regular there for over 5 years and was the first time seeing such delinquency.
