PLEASE HELP

On the 23 September I bought a 55inc Sinotech TV STL55P77 from the Alberton branch. Everything was cool tv worked glasses everything I was quite impressed. Then the remote batteries die after 3 days, OK get some new ones its been in that box so long. New batteries last about 5 days (eveready) get some more batteries (Duracell) sitting on the couch adjusting the volume on 17th October (Saturday) I notice the remote getting hot after about 3 Min the remote is boiling hot so hot it burns a little U shape in my couch, and start to melt from the inside. so I quickly grab a cloth and remove the batteries. now this is not my complaint the remote burning me/my property that I can handle but this is what upsets me. On Sunday 18th October I go back to Makro Alberton get told to wait for a Sinotech Rep (Lungi) which tells me to phone the spares and accessories on *** and tell them what happened and they will advise on a way forward? I have been phoning that number since yesterday and there is no answer ??? Please help me I don't like being messed around. All I want is a remote that doesn't burn me or my kids you can have this one if you don't mind the kindled it still work.
