Pirate Software

I purchases 2 Corel Draw 2025 suite lifetime licence packages from Makro online in late November 2024. What was strange from the onset is that instead of the software coming i original packaging, it came in a white airmail envelope with two flash sticks inside and a photocopy page with instructions on how to install. I didnt use the packages until January 2025 as I closed my business for our annual shutdown and only required them for the new year. Upon installation I went to register them with the CorelDraw.com and it gave me an unknown error. Certain features in the program also did not function at all. I contacted CorelDraw and upon providing them with the software licence keys they confirmed that the ,software was not from them and most almost certainly pirated software. The two packaes totalled almost R 10 000.00. I emmediately contacted Makro online to arrange a return and refund. The pickup was scheduled by Makro for the 27th of January 2025. To date I have called and escalated this twice and to no avail. NOTHING HAS HAPPENENED. Perhaps I should turn to Adams and Adams whom are the legal firm in South Africa that handle Intellectual property and software licencing- Perhaps then Makro will wake up? Service can be disgusting, but this is nonm- existant!!!!!!!!!! Stay away.
