Petrol Chainsaw machine

My is Nditsheni Muravha, M based in Johannesburg.
I have bought a Ryobi petrol chainsaw machine from Makro for my Orchard in Limpopo. I took a leave in October to do my project (trimming mango trees). I have only used the machine for 3 days off which I worked roughly 3 hours a day. on the 04th day after I took a break when I tried to start the machine, I have realized that the starter is stuck/locked then my project had to stop. I came back to Joburg and returned the machine as it has 2 years guarantee.
Booking was done however I have learnt that I was quoted with the balance of about R1200 and was being advised that oil and petrol was not mixed well but I have used the machine before and never had any problem and the problem now is only for starter not the engine itself. M very disappointed, I never thought I will experience this from Makro, I'M also thinking to get an alternative store to buy for my future projects. I do not agree with the quote, I need the machine fixed or refund my money back.
Repair note: *** and date booked : 20/12/2015.

Hello ndimuravha,

Thank you for taking time to raise your dissatisfaction.

The unit has to go in for evaluation, our system shows that it was booked in during festive season whilst the supplier was closed. However will ask the store to follow up with them.

The supplier has up to 6 weeks to repair the item - however the vast majority are completed quicker than this.

I apologise for the annoyance/inconvenience that this may have caused to you.
