Payday and Specials Horror

We went to Makro in Edenvale on the 1st of October 2022. We went to pay with 2 trolleys filled with groceries. Once all the items have been scanned and the specials calculated we realized the specials were not calculating at all. I had to go take photos on the shelves of the specials as well as stand with the catalogue to go go through each item to confirm the correct price scanned. We had to re-scan around 80% of our items for it to be manually overwritten as no specials were loaded to the system. This took around 45 minutes. I find this absolutely absurd and horrible service especially on a pay day weekend and on the 1st day of the specials. This was absolutely shocking.
