Pathetic/Disgusting Service

My parents in law who is 63 years old and their washing machine broke down on 26 May 2020. To make it worse. My father in law only has one leg. That same night a bought them a new washing machine from Makro Online with delivery to their house. It was suppose to not take longer than 10 days to be delivered. It has been exactly a month now and it is still not delivered, not even a tracking number has been provided yet. Contacted Makro with regards to the issue, who rep**** that they will escalate the query and follow up on the issue with the courier company. Received an email stating that this escalation will be attended to within 2 working day, which will be on the latest Tuesday, 30 June 2020 and might take up to 14 working days to be resolved, which will be more or less 17 July 2020. This is utterly disgusting service and this is not the first time I am having issues with Makro. My parents in law are wearing dirty cloths as it is difficult for them to just go about getting in a car and go to someone to help them. As I mentioned, my father in law only has one leg and is in a wheelchair. I am in Cape Town and they are in Port Elizabeth. It is very poor pathetic service to wait more than a month for a washing machine. ****it. It is disgusting service.
