Pathetic switchboard and call center system / staff

Needed to find out the warranty on an item that broke in the first few months. Contact centre couldn't help me so I find the number for the store on Google, which just goes back to the contact centre. 2nd time I got through to the contact centre the call was answered and I listened to the staff talking for a minute and a half while I said "hello" repeatedly until eventually they hung up on me. Phone a third time and I'm provided with what is supposed to be the real number for the branch which takes me to a switch board. Option 1 just takes me back to the contact centre. Phone it again and wait to speak to switch board operator. Guess what. Waiting for switch board operator takes me back to contact centre. This time contact centre answers and then immediately puts me on waiting with music playing. Music plays for about 2 minutes before someone seems to briefly answer before immediately hanging up on me. Pathetic service.
