PATHETIC!!! STAY AWAY FROM MAKRO, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED....AGAIN!

I placed an online order with Makro for liquor and other items for our company's year end function. The order was placed on the 3rd December 2024. When the order was paid for, all the items were available and the delivery date was 9 December.

On the 9th December we received 4 out of 21 items. Subsequent to this delivery 2 more items were cancelled due to no stock.

On the 12th we started phoning the call center to find out when our order will be delivered only to be on hold for 10 minutes at a time and people promising to phone back with an update. Not one of the 6+ persons I spoke to returned a call, no e-mail NOTHING!

We tried phoning the courier companies in order to ascertain where our delivery was but no joy.

We ended up buying additional stock from another supplier in order to have the drinks at our function on the 13th December. Now, we are not even allowed to return the items that were delivered too late because of the returns policy!!!

I find the level of service extremely poor and the lack of respect to us, your customers even worse! I will NEVER order anything from Makro again and will not be doing any instore shopping there either. You have no right to run a business like this in our country! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!
