Pathetic service makro cornubia

I purchased the goldair air cooler from Makro cornubia on the 22nd December 2019, when I unpacked the box and read through the instructions I realised that's its quite a bother to continously fill water into the machine and I called the helpline to ask if I could exchange it for something else I was told by Devan that I could do so as the device was not used just unpacked however when I got to the store the sales associate refused to assist me and said that there is a plastic cover missing when there wasnt any such plastic protection. I'm an elderly person I cannot be shoved around due to incompetence of your staff! I will never purchase anything from makro again I would rather purchase from hirshes as I get better service at their stores.
