Pathetic customer service from manager

Hi

I would like to share my disgust in dealing with a manager at Makro Cape Gate...

There was a special on dishwashers which ended Monday 20 Aug. I went there the Monday and they were sold out. After chatting to the sales guy Johannes and explaining it not my problem they are sold out, he spoke to the manager and took my details.

Upon collection there was cleaning tablets which became an issue so I asked for the manager. So Gawie Ellis came down and said they did me this massive favor in still getting me a dishwasher the cleaning tablets were not included. So i told him according to add it was free and I bought this when the special was ongoing. Its about the principle! He again said no and how grateful i should be that he still gave it me cause he could have told me to go get it somewhere else.

Now to me when a manager, of all people, says that to a customer...WOW! Absolutely pathetic!!! Im not in retail but I would never say stuff like that. And now all that its done is make me think twice before going back there or even referring someone!
