Pathetic Customer SErvice

Firstly, I would like to strongly advise everybody against making use of the Makro Online Service. I placed an order on Tuesday and called many times to request that my order be delivered before Friday. I was advised by many consultants that they will have the matter escalated, only to find out that my order was infact going to be delivered even later than the date which was initially confirmed. I spoke to many agents who were at least friendly, if not very helpful. I also proceeded to chat to an agent on the Makro chat service. This agent was extremely unhelpful and in fact argued and belittled me regarding my query. The agent’s name is Siphamandla Mthethwa. I cannot understand how Makro employs people like this, to work in a Customer Service environment. This is my very first time purchasing from Makro Online and it will definitely be my last!
