Pathetic after service .

I purchased a ice making machine from makro cournobia 26th Jan. I put the machine on on friday only to find out it not producing ice. I then took it back to the store monday requesting for a replacement machine since this was a brand new machine within my 7 days time frame wrapped in original packaging.

I was told that it has to go for testing and I need to wait 7 to 14 working days . I explained tk the staff and appliance manager its a new machine I have I event hence I need the machine. I was told because I used the machine they can not give me a replacement one. I explained tgat this machine was never used. How was I to assume the machine is broken if I did not put it on and fill water to make the ice. I was refused help

Your staff is not trained and incapable of making fair decision to the customer. I buy allot from makro amd after my experience I will never buy any appliance from makro . Your customer service is terrible you guys are also in breech of the customer protection act . I intend on taking full legal action against makro and will be claiming all cost including legal fees.

I was within my write to have been given a credit note. All i wanted was a replacement machine that worked.

You service adviser claimed the machine was used .kindly explain to me how the hell do I test a ice making machine without filling water. I intend on making a social media video to warn consumer about the red tape when purchasing from places like makro
