Paid R650 extra to Makro for nothing…

I believe my husband and I have fallen victim to a deceptive scheme at Makro. We recently purchased a highly-priced refrigerator and were promised that by paying an additional delivery fee of R650, it would be delivered on a day convenient for us to collect.

However, when we contacted the client service operator, they informed us that delivery on that particular day was not possible.

As a result, we have paid for a costly service that we cannot utilise, and we are feeling lost as to what steps to take next. Unfortunately, we have been unable to find anyone who can provide us with satisfactory answers, and Makro is unwilling to facilitate a refund for us.
