Overcharging then lying and gaslighting

Did an online order, when your order is or over R500. You get free shipping. Shipping was charged even though I qualified for free shipping. I placed the order after office hours and wasn't going to order the next day and have the order delayed by another day. I placed it thinking - I will call them and they will fix the error. For big businesses that something quick and easy to fix. (I do it at the company I work for - which is far bigger than Makro) I called the next day and it was confirmed there was an error and they said they will escalate... Nothing happend. So I send an email to all the relevant teams with the invoice... And they claim it is VAT... You can clearly see the breakdown before and after tax of the items, and the shipping charge is even clearly mentioned that it is shipping, and even shows the VAT on it. So I have stopped purchasing from them. The lies and trying to make me a fool - I did accounting but even then you don't need to to be able to read and understand an invoice or receipt. I was not going to waste more time on it. Just stopped purchasing. I was not going to post here but my colleagues were speaking about bad experiences and every single one of them had a bad experience, which I found hard to believe - as Makro is a big company blasing ads all over the internet, so they directed me here to see how bad it is when See all this reviews I'm surprised the consumer protection and other organisations/forum/bodies are not looking into this and sorting stuff - They need to be made aware.

Still sticking to that it is VAT. Can anyone read? Look at the invoice - please review what was charged for R70.09 ? The description CLEARLY STATES "DELIVERY FEE".

QTY BARCODE: 1 *** UNIT/PK DESRIPTION: 1 DELIVERY FEE (RET)

How can you tell me I was not charged delivery when that appears on my invoice???

Plus the MATHS don't make sense if the VAT is R70.09. no matter how it is worked out.

if the extra amount I was charged was VAT that means the price listed on the website does not include VAT.

either I was charged a delivery fee (which the invoice clearly states) or Makro showed me prices excluding Vat on the website then included it at checkout. Either option means that I was **** to in order to be over charged?
