Overcharging on delivery fees

I was looking for a small convertible oven without it costing me an arm and a leg. I found this little oven for R 699 on the Makro website, where it was stated that it is only available at that price online and for delivery. I proceeded to do the checkout and discovered that the delivery fee is R 1170. Are you crazy?? The item only cost R699. Why would I pay R 1170 for delivery only. Seriously?? This item is R 999 at Takealot including delivery. Why would any one pay R1800 for an item only worth R 999 max. Also before checkout, the system indicates the delivery fee to be max R99. Once the address is inserted you find the surprise!. No wonder Takealot is taking over in South Africa. Makro should be ashamed of themselves for *****ing like this from customer. Why have an item online for such a low price if nobody who is in their right mind will be paying that for delivery fees. I will never support Makro in any way ever again. Just close down already. Being so dishonest wont get you very far.
