Ordered online
Ordered online. Makro decided to pick a random address. When I received the invoice, I realised it was an incorrect delivery address and immediately emailed Makro and the called and messaged in WhatsApp to correct the address. Makro went ahead with delivery admt the wrong address anyway. Now Makro is not willing to take responsibility.

Where did you get 3 Victoria Road, Invalidsite, Amalgam?
Where did you get 3 Victoria Road, Trimof?
Where did you get 71 Good Street, Triomf?

23 Jun 2026, 11:34F#(k you're processed. Your processes are flawed. You're an ********* business, tricking people with *****ulent activities. You will not be allowed to dictate terms for remediation. I need the correct genuine leather recliner in my lounge before I return.

23 Jun 2026, 16:32 Reality check: This is a classic CPA case:
Only acceptable solution is a simultaneous swap (not me being left without a recliner)
Do the right thing Makro. Stop being a *****!
- Section 41: False/misleading representation
- Section 55: Right to goods that match description
Only acceptable solution is a simultaneous swap (not me being left without a recliner)
Do the right thing Makro. Stop being a *****!

25 Jun 2026, 07:55**** your terms and conditions. Where in your terms and conditions do you speak about you committing mi$$rep and *****? You must take accountability for your ***** and misrep. A return is not the solution; I need the genuine recliner before I return the **** one. You are not getting away with this one Makro.

26 Jun 2026, 11:22Returning the counterfeit recliner for a refund is not an acceptable resolution. It is the easiest option for you, but it entirely avoids accountability on your side. I do not accept this approach.
This matter goes beyond a simple transaction error. I paid for a genuine leather recliner and was instead supp**** with a product that does not meet what was advertised or sold to me. That constitutes a serious breach of trust and raises concerns of misrepresentation.
I am not interested in a refund as a convenient way to close this matter. I expect full accountability and meaningful remediation for what has effectively been a *****ulent transaction. A refund does not undo the inconvenience, the time lost, or the significance of this purchase.
This recliner was intended as a Father’s Day gift. That moment has passed. The experience cannot be replaced, and the impact of that cannot simply be written off through a reversal of payment.
I therefore ask: is your position that customers must absorb the consequences of your failures while you face none? Is this how Massmart/Makro addresses incidents involving misrepresented goods?
I require a resolution that reflects the seriousness of this issue, including accountability for how this occurred and corrective action beyond a basic refund. I don't want a refund. I require a genuine leather recliner I paid for before the **** one is collected.
