Opted out of receiving Birthday Voucher

For the past few years I had received a birthday voucher from Makro on my birthday (14 Feb). This year I waited to no avail. I called customer services a week or so ago and the lady I spoke to by the name of Tlhologelo told me that I had oped out of getting a birthday voucher... Like HUH? Who opts out of that though? When I questioned her about this, she ultimately told me that when your systems were upgraded, this opting out happened automatically. She opted me back in and told me that if it was not too late I'd receive my voucher otherwise I'd just get it next year.

I find this rather strange as the fault was on your side due to your upgrade.

I kindly request that you sort this issue out this year still.
