Opening of the 'New' Makro Warehouse in PE. When the 'New' Makro Warehouse was relaunched in PE. It was an exciting time for both Businesses and the Public. It was LARGER and their range & variety of goods was impressive for a place like PE and the surrounding 'catchment areas. With many attractions to the opening were Reduced & Discounted Prices. Well displayed and marked isles, plenty od trolley movement spaces. All said, a Store not as yet seen in our area. Needless to say, the store was a buzz with activies and ques at payouts were long, but due to well 'greased and organised by management the ques movement was steady and quick. There is even a special pay point for Pensioners. Well thought Makro, manyother retail & wholesalers stores should go and take note. Well like one of the many 'Hunters for Special' were not disaapointed, and got themselves excellent value. The Managers & Buyers of wares must have had app**** plenty of pressure upon their Suppliers. I managed to obtain a 'Bennett Oven Toaster Airfrier' a price, never seen or perhaps a one-off Special' Also bought some other wares (did not dissapoint) the idea of the Reopening Feature. One of the Groceries item was a 12 can pack of a Koo Product. Later due to the unfortunate produces of Koo & Hugo Foodstuffs. They National had to recall certain Products. Now to the reason I'm writting this 'Build-up' is that unfortunately both the Koo and Bennett Product had to be returned to Makro, due to Item defects. Makro has a Spectial entrance for such times of Good Return so as not to cause complications in their normal Public Entrance. The Personal handling Returns are well trained in the handling of upset Clients. They are pleasant and listern carefully , without any interferance to the Customer, no matter if under pressure of demanding and unreasonbal customers. Credit to the Training of their Supervisor who is always onhand should the situation calls for intervention. Usuall, a fully credit or exchange, or the product is sent to the Supplier (who will issue their exchange or credit. Impressive and Fully Credit will be given to the Makro Management & their Teams.
