One Month and Nothing

On Wednesday the 10th May 2017 I reported my Defy Chest Freezer dead. Purchased from Makro and still under guarantee. The next day Defy was there and fiddled with the wires and it worked. On the 12th May though it was dead again. I again reported it.

It is now the 14th June, over a month, and I have not been contacted by Defy at all. I have called over five times now and spoken to Kurt, who assures me every time he will contact Defy and get back to me. This never happens. I would like a new chest freezer please, and Makro can deal with this unprofessional ridiculous joke of a situation themselves.

Further, I will be submitting a complaint to the National Consumer Complaints Commission as this is completely against the CPA.

The same standard nonsense reply. Seems Mbali just copy pastes this as it is in all other Makro complaints.
Turns out Defy has the incorrect cell number for me? How then did the Defy guy contact me the first time? Nice try Defy.
Nevermind the fact no-one in Makro ever gets back to me as they always promise. This only serves to create an image of ***** with no customer service values whatsoever. Makro needs to re train all their staff on how to keep promises and follow up without the customer having to nudge them.
Absolutely pathetic.
