Not Honest Business Practice Anymore !

28 July the newspaper arrives and I see a contract deal. Get a Samsung A03core on a Red Core Package for R199 x 24 months with a R3000 voucher. I take a half day off work to go and do my upgrade, only to find out there was a printing error. It's supposed to read R249 x 24 months. The upgrade guy left and I couldn't do the upgrade, come 4 August and again the newspaper shows get a Samsung A13 on Red core plan for R249 x 24 months with R3000 voucher. I again take half day on Friday and go through to do my upgrade. Only to find out YET AGAIN, miss print. Supposed to read R249 x 36 months. Now a big corporate company like Makro surely has people who are deidcated to and approve all digital and print media.

When I asked the manager I want the deal I saw in the paper he stated he cannot help as they have corrected it in store. However the CPA clearly states in Section 23 Subsection 6 that just having the corrected price in store is not good enough.

I asked them to honor the deal that is in the paper and he said he cannot. I need to take it up with head office. I feel this practice of business is very sly and untrust-worthy. Makro advertise to get the consumer in the store and then don't honor the deal advertised in hopes they take the deal or don't see the change or take another deal. Utterly pathetic and ******** tactics from Makro.
