Non delivery

I placed an order with Makro on the 8th November. It was passed on to the courier company DPD Laser on the 9th and scheduled for delivery on the 11th. For some reason which has never been conveyed to me the delivery was not made. Since then I have tried with no success to find out where my order is and when it will be delivered. When I email customer services at both Makro and DPD Laser the message back to me is that it has been passed onto another person/department to deal with and that they will contact me. Still waiting. It seems customer service doesn't exist at either of these companies. It certainly doesn't make me want to deal with Makro ever again .
