No Shoes No Entry!

Went to Makro Strubensvalley to pay my Makro Account today and the Security Lady at the door didn't want me to enter as my son didn't have shoes on. I told her that I go there every month and have never heard of this. She just told me there is a sign above the door saying no shoes no entry. I told her that i just want to pay my account and can't leave my child ouside or in the car as it is dangerous. After a few minutes of ignoring me she spoke to another lady handing out the entry cards and then told me that if i want to go inside i have to put my child in a trolley. I put my son in the trolley and went inside, pay my account and asked the lady at the till why is there this new rule, her response was she never heard of it before. I asked to speak to the Manager and told her the same and she also responded she hasn't heard of this before. She will take it up with the risk manager to talk to the security. Hopefully there will be a solution to this ridiculousness! I feel like closing my account and never going there again!
