No response/urgency from Makro after logging a return - waiting months now
I bought a washing machine online. After noticing the washing machine being faulty I reported it. Makro then said they'll send out a technician/assessor to check the faults and if needed, replace the washing machine.
I've been waiting for 2 months now and no technician/assessor has come to see the faulty machine. I phone and email Makro every week where they say "We'll follow up with the manufacturer".
Can anyone please assist on how I can get this issue resolved. It costs my 10% of the actual washing machines price every two weeks to take my laundry to the laundromat.
Their policy states: "Should your product be faulty within the first 6 months of delivery, we will replace, repair or refund the item at no cost to you.". I tried returning after a month, but waiting 2 months now.
That is not true. The bolts are removed every time before usage, just like I explained to them. How can I be out of warranty when there's no rule saying I can't put the bolts back. The machine keeps shaking when washing, and this is when the bolts are removed. This is not my first time using a washing machine. I know I should remove the bolts before use. I use the washing machine once every 2-3 weeks hence I put the bolts back after use. I've expressed this both to Makro and the manufacturer, so no, i'm not out of warranty. Please advise what I should do to get the assessor to come and see the faults.
