No regard for patrons even in the event of losses incurred on consumers due to their negligence
On 12 January 2024 I was shopping at Makro Springfield Park, when one of their staff walked into me and knocked my phone out of my hand, completely shattering it. I was in the paint isle, perusing through the products, to see if I could find what my contractor needed, as per the WhatsApp list he sent to me, when I stepped back to my original position (I had moved forward, along their yellow line, in search of a particular item) and as I turned to resume my position, the lady walked straight into me and knocked my phone out of my hand, onto the floor. I spoke to Sharon, as well as to Richard, with whom documents were filed and copies of same were issued to me. He undertook to revert to me. To date, I have never heard back from Makro, despite my numerous attempts to reach them. Makro clearly does not care about my loss and the great inconvenience caused to me. I have lost valuable documents andl information on that phone. I have never been offered any sort of reprieve whatsoever. I am stuck in limbo and can't make decent progress due to the loss, while they get on with business as usual. It's pathetic to see how they devalue their patrons! I intend to sue them.
