No Makro card no business

Went to Makro with my husband's card, which I have done often with no issues. It is also the card that is linked to my online shopping profile and app. Wanted to purchase a few items but this was declined by the very unfriendly cashier, she accused me of *****. Soooo funny! It is not like this is a credit card I stole to use **********ly. As far as I understand the card was put place in the 1980's to limit shoppers to registered businesses only? When I go to Pick & Pay and I don't have a smart shopper card do they refuse to do business with me? Noooooo. Time to get out of the 1980's, Makro!
