No Goods delivered

Makro's logistics and communication are not up to par for the modern day. I ordered a washing machine from them on 27th November 2023, they communicated that they would deliver by the 1st of December. On the 1st of December, I received a call stating they would deliver between 3 and 4 pm. No delivery occurred. Furthermore, it is now the 5th of December and I've still not had any communication or delivery from them. I called their call centre and couldn't reach anybody who helped me.

My takeaway from this experience: do not use their online shopping features or delivery, it isn't up to the standard of a modern e-commerce site. Instead pay extra for Takealot, at least they know what they are doing regarding e-commerce.
