No Empathy With Death

On 30 August 2014 we purchased a Samsung printer. We were assured of back-up service and the usual salesman honey brush. On 28 February 2015 our father passed away suddenly and we had to fly to Cape Town to attend to family matters. It was reported to me that the printer started giving problems as of 29 Feb. We only returned on 9 March 2015. Whilst still in the grieving process, we returned the printer on 15 March 2015 only to be told it will take between 10-21 working days for it to be repaired or if we were not prepared to wait could take it to Samsung ourselves. The printer gave problems within the six months to qualify for a replacement as per the Consumer Protection Act people! This is a business printer and we cannot go without it for 21 days. However, their staff have been trained like robots. This is it, take it or leave it. Absolutely no compassion. When I told Wendy that she had no compassion and that how she would feel if it was her father, her response was... well I don't have a father. Well, the printer was booked in this morning for repairs, even though they said it would not be. Well done. So nice to see that there are people who still care!
