No after sales service from Makro

Makro Job No: ***

I bought a Hisense gas hob and electric oven from Makro on 30 June 2023. I employed an artisan to install the appliances and a gas/electricity technician to fit the gas connections which had to be "compliant".

There is a fault with the gas hob which I have reported numerous times to Makro. Makro said I should contact Hisense which I did. A few weeks later Hisense actually pitched and inspected the gas hob, agreeing that it was faulty. A few weeks later, Hisense said I should dismantle the hob, uninstall it and bring it in to them for repairs - at my own expense. I don't believe that I should have to do this. I bought the appliance in good faith from Makro (not from Hisense) and I pointed this out to Makro. I am 76 years old, a pensioner with limited income. I would have to pay good money to have the hob uninstalled and delivered to Hisense for repairs. How can one recommend a store when you receive such appalling service. What can I do to receive some action from Makro? This has been going on sine September 2023 with no response! Does Makro not have any moral fibre? This is not ethical business behaviour. *** ***

Makro hasbeen sending me the above message since September 2023 but never gets back to me with a solution. How long am I expected to endure this shocking business behaviour? I bought the item in June 2023 and I STILL have had no after sales service. I am asking you if you think I should now seek legal help?
