No after sales service

Makro SA has been a total nightmare. Along with their brilliant suppliers, SKYWORTH South Africa/Sinotec and their affiliate CN Tronics.

I would not recommend anyone to purchase any Skyworth/Sinotec products from anywhere let alone Makro. Makro is also very poor in resolving issues and their after sales team is no where near up to par.

We have purchased a 65inch Skyworth Android T.V back in July 2020, two actually and have been having issues with it for the past 2 months. Reported it to Makro. The T.V has a 3 year warranty. To shorten the story, it's been a month now and more than a 150 calls, 20 to 30 emails between Makro, CN Tronics and Skyworth. 3 different job cards opened each time leaving us with nothing but empty promises.

The T.V is still faulty and Makro can do nothing but send you back and forth with little to no assistance in getting the matter resolved from their end. Makro send use to Skyworth, Skyworth gives no reply or communication whatsoever. This experience has been horrible, and I hope that this will help discourage potential buyers of Skyworth products or any electronics from Makro to reconsider their options. Lessons like these are expensive and I hope others will not make the same mistake as we did.
