No advertised stock
Makro advertised 4 rechargeable batteries on special for R100 The store had no stock on the Saturday.I was told stock would be available on Monday.On Monday I was told again no stock and that Makro often advertised specials that stock was not available for.I wrote to their Customer Hotline and received an automated response saying I would be contacted within 48 Hrs. 72 Hrs later-nothing.Once again I am amazed at the total disrespect that South African companies show their customers.Why spend millions on brand awareness when you treat customers who have a problem so poorly!!

Makro takes great pride in making available to our customers every item of stock that we promote and advertise.
However, due to unforeseen circumstances the stock was delayed from the supplier side, we expect our shipment not later than the 20.07.2015
Please accept our sincere apologies for any disappointment or inconvenience this matter has caused.
I believe you purchase this morning the GP AA 4pk 2700MAH as a substitute at the same price. The difference between the two is that the GP is a 2700MAH and the Energizer is a 1500MAH.
I hope your complaint has been resolved to your satisfaction.
